About C.H.I.L.D.R.E.N MINISTRY AND DR. JANE

This ministry's purpose is to equip parents  with the Truth from God's Word to help families become Christ-dependent. When applicable Dr. Jane also includes sound information about development, behavior, and health concerns as it effects parenting. The outcome is to discover God's purpose and joy in parenting for us and for the next generation

 

God never intended us to do this alone, so let us turn our hearts to HIM, HIS Word, and leave frazzlehood behind.

This ministry began in April 2000 after much prayer and consideration. Dr. Hadley-Smith is a  pediatrician who practiced developmental/behavioral medicine.  Now she works full-time raising her children.  She is dedicated to "speaking for those who can not speak for themselves" (Proverbs 31:8) -- our children.

"We need to stop asking talk-show-hosts and fashionable experts for parenting advice, and depend upon the One who made our kids. "

Dr. Jane is held accountable by her home church's  leadership to ensure sound doctrine. She has no formal staff, but is aided by family and friendly volunteers.

This parenting ministry is different from other parenting resources in that it is lead by the Lord's will and not human agendas.

Dr. Jane was called to this ministry to serve, not to gain notoriety or money. Her professional training enables her to discern what "new" parenting information is useful and which is hazardous to our kids.

This ministry does not give quick fixes, but lasting results for the next generation.  It is COMPLETE parenting, not COOKBOOK child-rearing.
